We have a couple more provisions to add for this event:
-FB's will be provided by the game administration.
-OC spray is now required to be a "water trainer" (real deal stuff) or "
silly string". This is easily identified by the actors and is safe.
-CS gas: We are discussing allowing CS gas. If we do end up allowing it, there will be no competitor input on the deployment. It will be deployed by game administration by competitor request and the actors will react accordingly. If you do deploy CS, you will be required to wear a gas mask, otherwise you will be rendered "broken" until the gas clears the area or you are removed to another region where CS is not lingering.
-Sound Suppressors: There is no provision for sound suppressed weapons in this event. If your weapon is quiet, it is quiet. Actors will respond to any gunfire they hear. Sound discipline is suggested.
-Ballistic Shields:
:
Competitors Provides their own shields. 2 shields per 10 competitors or 1 shield per 6 competitors. (So to qualify for 2 shields you need to have 10 competitors in one scenerio)
:Shields must be consistent with a standard ballistic shield. (refer to this link...scroll to bottom, it has specs on two different lengths:
http://www.bulletproofme.com/Ballistic%20Shields.shtml ) The example shields are the ONLY acceptable types of ballistic shields for this event. No special provisions....no superlightwieght deltaleetseal shields, no krytonite shields...ect. Standard good old heavy cumbersome shields.
:
Important- If a you do use a shield, the operator of the shield
MAY NOT use a SMG, SHOTGUN, RIFLE, ect other than a HANDGUN while moving with the shield. That is what your cover man is for. This does not mean the shield operator can not have a weapon slung, it just means he can't use the slung weapon until the shield is discarded.
:Actor "strike" response: It is a time delay, not a "out for the round" situation. Each actor is tailor fit to his role. Some may be out for an extended amount of time, others for only 10-20 seconds.
