You can still have a glorfied skirmish in a missile base. Effective game planning is about more than just the venue. I'm sure they have something exciting cooked up.

If it's such a huge place, then why the player limits?

you charged 15-20 dollars for that last game at ABT field, and labeled it as a CQB game. well.... there was no CQB, no chrono, which barley made it worth my time and money. did i have fun. yes. did you misrepresent your gameplay. yes.

so if i pay 100 bucks.... what exactly am i too expect this time from you???

Correct we did charge 15 for the last game becuse we had to change locations at the last minute. We did our best to locate a alternate location. Our commitment is there, we were able to locate and retain a location in a pinch. Yes, it was no school but we did find a location and not just giveup.

We have orderd 2 new chorno's that have ther own light source so we can chrono in the dark.

This facility has 30,000 approx. square feet of CQC.

When we had to change loctions we spent our time looking for a alternate location. Should we have spent time changing the post page yes.

To secure a location like this is not cheep! So goes the higher price also to make it safe and fun.

We will have better cameras video recorders to recored as much as possable. We learned from the last event don't rely on one camera it just might crap out on you.

Noresman,
We have a checklist of issues we have addressed in facilty.

You could further your chances for a good OP video by having a professional videographer there. :D

I also remember a guy telling me about a nationally organized game that was conducted in a "cow pasture". ;)

Iam just saying that if Kabar would rather play in his backyard, because of organizational issues.......he has greater expectations than I do concerning airsoft......OR he has the coolest backyard on the planet.

You guys should take a video camera and do a tour though the base I bet that would get a lot of people excited. I hope you guys have a way top solve long hallway standoffs. By the photos you show it seems like there are a lot of long hallways and I know that can be a %$&ch to get through.
Anyway Looks good I'm just going to have to chrono my P90 because of of a recent upgrade. And save money, $90! damn going to have to do some extra work.

I think the point is that this is the single most expensive 1 day airsoft event in the NW ever. For one day of play, even at this venue, the price suggests some serious production quality. The only event that is more expensive is the Battle Sim weekend long full immersion Recondo School. Missions objectives, Story, Actors, Props. KBAR is just bringing out the question most of us have, are we going to be paying $100 to play capture the flag in a bunker, or is this going to be a seriously organized event? For being your second time hosting, and given the review of the last "OP", I don't know that you have instilled enough faith in your reputation to get the headcount your expecting. Certainly not mine,

I have read your concerns, I will try to address some of them here
1.in the negotiation stage we made a trip up there to video safety issues so we will put up some of that footage.
2.chrono issue has been solved we have bought TWO NEW CHRONOS WITH THEIR OWN LIGHT SOURCE.
3."glorified skirmish" It has been my experience that all ops can be insultingly called glorified skirmishs because must objectives fall into one or more of the following catergories when you take all the flowery wording out. a. snatch and grab b.sector control or c. vip escort/protection. it is also my experience when dealing with a large group of airsofters at once you do not want to put in too many details as it clouds the game play.We have put alot of time and effort in putting together a fun op with alot of trigger time and not alot of a$$ time. each side has very specific objectives and secondary objectives...you will have to move and communicate all day. As far as the last game went ,we can provide the objectives and fields but we can not provide the killer instincts and drive sometimes needed to succeed.
4. this facility could easily hold another 100 players. but we decided to keep the slots to 100 players max so we can have a better flowing game...if all we wanted was your money we would have opened it up to how ever many players would pay. But we can easily handle a 100 player event and this way you get more bang for your buck.
5.for the record a min $35 of your $90 entry fee goes DIRECTLY BACK INTO THE FACILITY FOR IMPROVEMENTS for future games.
6.currently garnering sponsorships... everyone who stayed for the raffle at the last game received a raffle prize, I'm not saying that is definatly going to happen this time but that is truely up to the sponsors.

My time on the net today is limited... I will be back tomarrow, line forms on the left for questions and concerns. The best way to communicate with me directly for now is through our phone# 360-907-9109.

Thanks to all of you who are showing your support. This is truely a great place to play and we have spent many many hours(with many many more to come) to bring this to the airsoft world. DON'T MISS OUT!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT

these are all included at the secure team forums at wildboararmory.com... we will have to make some of these details public though just so people can see what they are getting into...this is definatly a next level facility

any team that is aggressive and communicates well will be able to have a good time...if you are one of those sit and hid in a hole types till someone walks by, our games may not be for you. We provide the objectives and facilities you must provide the drive and teeth.
