So none of you AP guys are going to bite, eh?

Josh.....no JTD this year. You could go as a USMC grunt in country for what it will cost you to drive up.

The only prerequisite is that you show up.

Can you go into more detail about the free option about being grunts?

You will be tasked with defending Camp Basilone as well as search and destroy missions in a immersed Vietnam battle space. We can completely outfit you if you sign up quickly, as we don't have all sizes in our supply room.

Just keep in mind this is NOT a airsoft skirmish. You just cannot wander off and do what you want. You'll be under a strict command structure that simulates the USMC circa 1969.

I understand this is not a skirmish and a serious MILSIM event.

It's not even really a serious milsim event. It's a historical school that incorporates some airsoft.........I guess is the best way to put it. Blank fire will be present as well.

Monsoon season is a phony pony!

Camp Basilone has received a couple of inches of rain in the last 48 hours, making travel to and from the Camp treacherous. But putting everyone in the right mindset for the school that kicks off tommorow.........it's wetter than WET! Turn out is much better than last year with about 30 people participating as students, instructors and opfor.
:D

(From left to right: Gary Jr. (NE), Cameron (CA) and Anthony USMC-R (CA))

Wish you all were here!! I'll get more pics posted up next week!

Oh! One more thing, my baby (aka the tower) is shaping up nicely. The roof is on now, the ladder is installed and all that is left is putting up the sand bagged walls on the upper deck and the base bunker.
