1st SWORD presents: BATTLEGROUNDS

Do you think your team can out maneuver, out play, and completely walk over any other team in the NW? Here's your chance to see if that's just a fantasy, or reality. 1st-Sword presents BattleGrounds.

This will be a tournament style event. One team against another on one field
for 30 minutes, and the winner advances to the next level. At the end of the day there will be only one team that can truly say...We are the best team in the NW!

To register for this event you need a minimum of 8, maximum of 12 Operators on your team. Teams with more than 12 Operators can form a second team. Operators who do not have a team, can sign up as individuals, and will be placed into a team. We want to promote organized teams in the NW, and this is your teams chance to show us what you got.


When: April 24, 2010

Where: TBA (To Be Announced)

Gearup/ Chrono/ Registration: 1100

Start time: 1230

Cost: $10 per person and includes BattleGrounds patch

Team size should be even for any sort of competition. A four man difference is a huge advantage in something like this.

I don't think that'll work. The US Basketball team always loses at the Olympics.

No offense but I have looked into the future and seen the final brackets go like this: Prat vs. 1st sword..Prat wins and goes into the champ game. Team Terror vs. Praetorian guard.. TT goes to the champ game. TT vs. Prat..10 seconds after the game starts there will be a Nuclear explosion and everyone dies

We are always down for mass genocide Team Terror will show up. We will do our best and see what happens.

Also would you please post your entire ruleset for airsoft here as there are some differences with how you play and how we play down here? Engagemant distances, safety kills, parlays, eye protection....

I am pretty sure you have thought about the need for an a$$ load of admins?

So you guys are pretty much hosting a paintball tournament? Not really what I have in mind. I got away from paintball for tournaments just like this.

Personal prediction: Once this is over, there will be a month long flame war about cheating and not calling hits, regardless of how many 'admins' you have watching every single player on the field. Tournaments just bring out the worst in everyone....
