Bishop I have decied that FTZ will not be attending as a team unless the age limits change.
Thus I would like to say that I am willing to be a "Merc" untill a team picks me up.

Guys, the age limit is out of our hands this time. The land owners say they only want 16 and up for liability reasons, it's their choice. It's their proptery after all, and you have to look at what's going on here from their point of view. Perhaps if we show them this time around that we are a safety concious group and take what we do seriously, then next time we can get them to make exceptions, but if it's because of their insurance, well, the good of the many outweighs the happiness of the few who this exepmts. The best thing you can do here is accept the fact and show maturity by bowing out gracefully without complaint.

Not only is it fair, but we may even extend an invite for current LE tactical teams to compete :)

I have two questions where will we be camping at? On the grounds? And do we need a signed waiver thing if you haven't been to a event before and your under the age of 18.

There's no camping on the site. You might be confusing this with the OP we posted. CQC4 is a 2 day event because on day 1 we'll run 9 teams, and on day 2 we'll run the remaining 6. Basically, you'll be required to be there during your timeslot, each team will have about 3-4 hours of action which includes 3 unique missions back to back. Then we'll have an awards dinner at a restaraunt with a meeting hall on Sunday night, most likely somewhere close by the event location. For people travelling far distances, we can book your team's scenarios on Sunday for convenience if need be.

There will be a waiver required. Most likely 2, one for insurance and one for our organization.

EDIT: There's also going to be a commons/staging area where you can hang out afterwords or beforehand if you want, so teams won't have to leave immediately after they're done with the scenarios...

That's TBD, but most likely no. To get through the volume of teams we want to run this time, it'll be in everyone's best interest if we have fixed times.

Rick, the plan is slotting like Matt said. You will be assigned a show up time AM or PM. Three teams drop in at the same time each working different missions. If your team is MIA on their slot, you lose your cookies and cant play war.

This is going to be much like the call out, because we want to maximize the time usage for the teams, and limit the amount of onsite a$$ time for the teams waiting to a minimum. The concept is the same, but you are scheduled to drop in. I will still need phone numbers from each of the TL's for any misuderstandings about drop in times...because they could be bumped up if a set of teams tears through their missions. I am also planning on making the call 15 minutes prior to the teams show up time to ensure they will be on time.

Team W.A.R. is trying to get enough people together for the event. We have 4 right now, so if anyone is interested let me know.
