Recruiting or Combining....

Postby Brooklyn » Thu Mar 09, 2006 9:05 am

Myself and Mobius021 of the 172nd Ronin may have anywhere between 4-7 operators [including ourselves]. We may not meet the minimum stack requirement. Even if we do, we may be interested in individuals joining or combining with another team.

If you are interested, please PM myself or Mobius021. When a decision is made on whether we're are going to recruit or combine for the CQC, we'll confirm and organize the oh-so-fun *distance* training. This looks like so much effin fun! :D

I would like to apply as a merc, and may bring two guys in. That depends on logistics though, ie guns working etc. If anyone is having trouble meeting stack requirements, pm me, and if possible, I would like to bring my other guys as well.

Hey Dantes, not sure if Wade is bringing a team down from SA or not, they are pretty quiet about it. I However will be on leave and thats the week I will be in Hillsboro visiting my sister. If I bring down my M4 and my SOPMOD M14 you mind if I jump in, can use me however you want. Well...not HOWEVER...I have seen you drink with Nightshade! LOL But I would be willing to be an actor or something, let me know bro. Late.

Guys, dont shoot for the minimum stack number, shoot for the maximum. You will need it. We are writing the scenerios to really challenge the team's ability.

Kendo is too wierd to act in a CQC event. He would lower the bar so much, we may as well call it CounterStrike:HostageNamedKendoCrisis.

Quick Newsflash:

We have worked it out and we have gotten a way to get the under 16 players on the field with some provisions that have to be met. They are pretty easy, but they are strict:

1) The team must have someone at least 18 years of age running the group and acting as the guardian of that person for the duration of the event.

2) This guardianship will be notorized. We will make available a form. This is common practice at some large scale national events. (I had to do it for Hillbilly at LC3)

3) The underage must be in the same uniform, and fulfill the uniform reqs of the team they are running with. This isnt going to be a Tac-Team plus kid in pajamas.

The first two are the walls we broke down to get you guys on the field. You can go to places like the UPS store, they have people that notarize documents. Don't disappoint us on this guys. This is your opportunity to shine and fly under the radar.

Secondly: As you all know there are 3 scenerios. We have decided to give you a little incite on the mission profiles. They are broad, but at least you can bring the proper kit.

1) Special Operations
2) Federal Law Enforcement
3) Local Law Enforcement

Lastly: After reviewing the video of the last CQC event, we have elected to limit the usage of entry shields to the "representative size and weight" of the real deal. This means, no garbage can lids, cardboard cutouts, lightweight lexan, or anything else you think you can slip under the radar. The admin's will disallow anything they feel is not authentic enough.

If you want specs to build a shield, contact Casca via PM. He reproduced the one we had donated to us by JL's team.

Also, if you are interested in participating in this event as an actor, please PM or Email Deacon or myself. We will work it out from there.

I assume an international agency or two are acceptable?

Bill, may I also assume that replicas will be chrono'd on site to ensure they are under the 300fps max.?
