SEEKING HELP FOR FILM CREW

I am looking for a few extra hands to take footage at CQC4. You must provide your own camera, tape stock will be provided. I'd like somebody with some limited experience (beyond just making home movies). You'll be compensated for your time and included in the credits. Ideally, I'd like college students who need a few more notches for the resume, this is yet another film project you can add to your accomplishments. Send me a PM if you or someone you know would like to help, include links to examples of your work.

Lastly: After reviewing the video of the last CQC event, we have elected to limit the usage of entry shields to the "representative size and weight" of the real deal. This means, no garbage can lids, cardboard cutouts, lightweight lexan, or anything else you think you can slip under the radar. The admin's will disallow anything they feel is not authentic enough.

Have you ever held a bat shield?

Ren - That's close enough. We'll have some give there, but we basically want everybody to be near stock. We're going to post up a player packet when we announce the signup for the event, that document will contain all the rules and should answer 99% of your questions.

Pitts - Submit statistics on ballistic shields to me; weight, dimensions of the one you're replicating. If it's used in the field and your replica is close to the same... we'll allow it. (as the rule states)

Edit: Crap removed from thread. If you kids can't get along, I'm going to make you go sit in the corner.

Umm, corners are a good place to be in CQC, is it wise to put them in an area of advantage? I think a time out chair would be better.

Matt, the shields EATF uses are spec minus the kevlar and ballistic nylon filler. They are close enough to spec without being the real thing for me.

Pittsmen, don't worry about the specific specs that I requested. More details to follow.
