FPS Limits.

Airsoft safety discussion. Post here with questions about laws and safety concerns.

There was never a question concerning the FPS limits we use, it was just reemphasizing them.

First of all, thanks for giving me the little bit of respect that comes with actually taking the time to push dow the shift key when typing my callsign, Its not like there are 2 of them on your keyboard or anything.

Second of all, You right When I was acting like an asshat on the forum and whippin my cock out for a pissing match I did get the same responce you did. Imagine that. And I am a long time community leader with a ton of respect. You shoulda learned from my situation.

As far as FPS I know of a group that has no limits and regularly fields guns over 700 FPS. I would play with these guys with no eye protection because they are that good. There is no lack of trust that the peson on the trigger will fire inapropriatly. That being said I will play any FPS ... Just not with most of the players in the community. There are about 10 guys here in the PDX area I would walk onto the field with if the FPS was higher. Most of the rest of you I think should be required to cut 2 coils out of your stock spring and learn some tactics.

;) <-- Damn thats gotta suck!

I think everyone realizes that AP is more or less meant for everyone to be a part of. AP is a society, no society exhists without problems. The fact that the mention of horse porn is here, in the same thread as fps limits and injuries, may be why many of us play airsoft. We're here to have fun.

As far as thick skin goes, none of use are born with it. You build thick skin from your experiences and then one day we realize that words don't really hurt all that bad. This is why talking shit is fun, until someone takes it personally and needs to hear apologies so they can feel stupid that they took it too seriously and everyone laughs. I vote that everyone be bi-polar all year around and have menstral cycles so we can all understand that rarely is there a time that everyone is on the same page. This is why there are........guidelines........speed limits...wind, fire and beer. These things help put everyone on the same page in some way shape and form so that we can all get along....most of the time.

Blah Blah Blah Blah

IF it an't broke dont fix it.................

I have been playing this game for 3yrs, and I always had fun doin it.

I play because I want to play. sure I want my gun to shoot faster and farther. but that won't be fair for the other team.

I mean I get kills with my mp5k that shoots 280fps and dosn't have any accuracy or range. Its about skills and having fun with it.

and any ways, you'll get TKed more that get hit by the enemy. ( ;) specially if your on my team  )

Just keep pressure on the noob and encourage them to call hit by showing them a good example.

If every one is breaking a rule ( like waiting for X amount of min before Responding ), don’t break the rule you'r self. obey the rule and tell your mate to do the same.

Example, as I am walking from the dead pool toward the front line, and some players who just got hit and they're walking back to the dead pool. They will come up to me and say "enemy over there". I just till em "your dead dont talk and go back to the dead pool"

Increasing or decreasing the FPS is not going to help the sport, It might even hurt it.

So stop being Fuken asshats and play.

and that my 2 pennies.

all of this started because i invited a couple of guys whos guns were to Hot to play with a.p. to shoot with us. if i didn't use the word "afraid" in my first post nobodys panties would have been twisted. so in an effort to make everyone warm and fuzzy again, i apologize for my wording and i am sorry it had so much of an effect on your persons. Oy vey... That was a long, interesting read with heartwarming chapters, thrilling suspense and some laugh out loud moments that will have you in stitches for hours. I'm sending the transcript of this to Oprah's Book Club.
