Red Invasion III OP: URGENT STRIKE.

Op: URGENT STRIKE

Five months ago the 4th Brigade Combat Team (506th Infantry Regiment)101st Airborne Division) was deployed to the province of Za'karpatska, Ukraine. Their mission was to retrieve a spy satellite that was shot down two weeks earlier by the Russians. A force of VDV Paratroopers and units of the Ukrainian army pushed the American forces back and retrieved the satellite.

Two weeks after US troops were pushed back, the Russian Navy successfully test launched two new ICBMs into the heart of the Siberian tundra. This was a part of the testing of the new Russian Missile Defense System.

In response to the increasing tension between the United States and Russia, President Obama called Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and asked him to discuss ways to end the conflict before more lives are lost. Medvedev agreed to meet with Obama to discuss these matters. While the political discussions were talking place, the CIA got some disturbing intelligence from a high ranking agent.

Sergey Nikolay'ch a high ranking member of the Russian Defense Ministry and a 10 year agent for the CIA delivered the data from the downed satellite that the Russian's recovered from Ukraine and a vague warning of a new and extremely dangerous weapon that could be located in the same area. Plans were made to break Sergey out of Russia and debrief him on this new threat. However one day before the break out Sergey was picked up by the SVR (Russian Intelligence) and was latter found dead in his apartment, apparently from natural causes.

After close examination of the satellite data the CIA was convinced that the Russians had converted 3 of the 10 missile sites surveyed by the satellite to carry a new payload. These 3 missile sites are reinforced in underground missile silo's that can not be destroyed by air strikes. Ground troops will have to go 30 miles inside Russia and neutralize these sites. The Pentagon wants one of the warheads recovered and brought back for study. The Pentagon has sent in SOF's (Special Operation Forces) from the Army & Navy to individually infiltrate each of the 3 sites. Two Army units 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (Delta Force) were sent into two of the sites with their primary objective to destroy the missiles. The Navy's Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU or SEAL Team Six) has been assigned the mission of retrieving the warhead from the third missile site.

Getting nowhere in his negations with Medvedev, President Obama gave the green light for Op: Urgent Strike...

When: Sept 25-26 (Possible that checkin will be Thursday evening and Friday Morning until 0900. We are most likely going to have a full TWO day Op. like that first Red Invasion.)

Where: Easton Washington.

So I'd assume Washington.

Gentlemen,

We are super excited to report that we were able to gather a highly motivated group of airsoft players that have real-life military experience. Gemlee, a retired Major of the Army & Will a former Army Ranger, have joined together with Duke (Former Army Special Forces) in these efforts. They are currently working with us and have submitted some fantastic ideas and concepts that we would love to implement into Red Invasion III to elevate the game to another level!

As part of our ongoing effort to bring you the crème de la crème of airsoft, this unfortunately means that we must postpone the event by a couple of weeks to September 25-26 to fine tune details and to give more people an opportunity to attend. The event will be in Easton as many of you have requested.

An optional, but highly recommended "Tactics Training" will take place during the day of the 25th from 0900-1500. Some of us will be there Thursday the 24th if you would like to camp to attend the training. If you do not wish to attend the training, check-in will be from 1500-1900H on Friday.
