Is it true that you make newcomers wear paper targets and stand at the business end of the shooting range, or are those vicious rumors?
Who told ya that anyway?

For realls though, just joking, no offence intended.

Darius left Saturday night and he wont be back for training is what he said.
Who ever is in charge, Im accepting your invatation that Darius and Cap_n_Pickles sent me. I will be there. I will be wearing woodland because that is all I have. And I will look again bit is there a address or map to get to the field.
DJ, myself, Mini Marine, Eudorus and others are performing the training based upon their combined experience.
Mini Marine has training at the Marine's School of Infantry (SOI) and DJ has 20+ years in every facet of law enforcement. They will act as the Primary Instructors.
This training is covering the basics of how to fire your weapon quickly and accurately, use your gear and reload your weapon quickly, and move towards the enemy without getting yourself shot up.
I came home early from training (well I'm in Georgia right now, should be back in a day or two) due to a broken foot. I'll be there, but I won't be doing much besides hanging out and/or helping organization. _________________

Yeah, I was fast roping and landed on the rope on half my foot, putting the pressure of my whole body (in combat gear) down on the outer half of my left foot, breaking a metatarsal and fracturing two others. I tried to get up and walk it off, but no dice. I limped to the ambulance (FLA) and sat there staring at my gimpy leg for two hours until training was over then went to the hospital.
Basically, this is what happened to me, only I was fast roping out of a helicopter and about 75 feet up:
I was pissed. I missed SPIES (Special purpose insertion/extraction system) training:
