Anyone with firsthand experience can you tell me?... Is there a good durable flat dark earth colored spraypaint you could suggest? I am trying to match magpul's flat dark earth rather than the lighter khaki color of Krylon. Thanks _________________

DuraCoat makes a paint that matches perfect, but it's not aerosol. _________________ WALRUS's...cause we're fatter and slower than SEALs!! |

Rustoleum's Nutmeg in Satin finish is as close as I've found. After a few google searches on the topic, I'm not alone in this. _________________

Posted this in a thread by itself but someone said I should post it here too..
This is the first time I have painted a gun and I thought I had hosed it to no end but all in all for a first try it isn't too bad.....
I need to give it 48 hours to fully dry but here it is as it stands.... Remember this is my first run at painting a gun....

So I was swapping out barrels on my M4 tonight and I realized how beat to hell my rifle looked, so I decided to give painting a try.

A little brighter than I would have liked, but I'm happy with it.

I have here 3 BAR 10s, a DE UMG, a DE M47 SHotgun, and DE pistol.
I repainted the DE UMG....

My whore side got me yesterday... I rummaged a g36c together with extra parts I had laying around (I never knew I had a whole gun worth of parts lying around!).
Red Tiger obviously, but it came out surprisingly well considering how half assed my stencils were.
I just need to handbrush a blemish on the right side of the magwell, then it shall be finished.
