BACK STORY:

March 29, 2008 - Beirut, Lebanon

Last night in a stunning coup, the combined forces of Hezzbolah and Palestinian rebels overthrew the government of Lebanon. The Lebanese President Emile Lahud is fleeing the country and Sheik Hassan Nasrallah has been proclaimed the new leader of Lebanon.

Immediately following the fall of the Lebanese government, the nations of Syria, Egypt, and Jordan have unified with Sheik Hassan Nasrallah to form what they hope is a new super power in the Middle East. Beirut will be the capital city of what is tentatively being called NEW PERSIA.

Obviously the Israeli government is nervous about this turn of events. Egypt, Jordan, and Syria comprised the bulk of the forces that attacked Israel during the six day war of 1967. Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria also contributed troops and arms during that conflict. The Israelis are concerned that this could signal the beginning of another hostile move against their country. If the New Persian empire could convince the rest of the Arab community to join forces with them it could spell the beginning of another world war.

Assaulting Force
A multinational taskforce is being sent into Beirut as a result of the new developments with New Persia. This taskforce will be given a number of strategic objectives aimed at crippling the progress of this potential threat to world peace.

#1: Gather intel on New Persia, it's allies, and the potential threat to Israel and the rest of the world.

#2: Rescue the remaining members of the former Lebanese government being held by members of New Persia.

#3: Assassinate one of Sheik Hassan Nasrallah's chief aids.

#4: Search and destroy any chemical, biological, or nuclear munitions. Your mission will be to catalogue and disable.

Full briefings will take place on site prior to step off.

The assaulting force will be broken down into teams of six operators and given a mission. One mission every hour until the evening is complete. No team affiliation required. These teams will be in direct contact with each other as they complete their objectives in cooperation with each other.

Defending Force
A sizeable garrison for the New Persian government has been stationed at the Beirut Headquarters. These troops have been charged with the mission of defending the glory of the empire against any aggression.

The defending force will be broken into groups of five and stationed throughout the building and will react to contact via radio.

Rules
Ammo will be provided by BSP.

Assaulting forces will be given 200 bb's per mission.
Defending forces will be given 90 bb's at the onset of every mission and 30 bb's after every respawn.

Assaulting teams wil be given 10 bandaids per mission to be used at their discretion.
Defending forces will be sent to a respawn after every death and will re-enter the battle after a 10 minute waiting period.

Assaulting forces will be wearing any matching set of bdu's.
Defending forces will be wearing a black top and camo trousers.

Raffle
The raffle will be held on Saturday night. If you cannot attend you are still eligible. If your ticket is drawn your prize will be available for pickup.

Winners will be announced on http://www.blacksierra.net

Sign-ups
There will be 25 slots per side per day. Teams will be determined on site. Reserve your spot now.

Team affiliation isn't necessary.

The OPFOR will be players, just like the assaulters. We'll rearrange everyone so they are defending a new program each hour too.

It'll be an interesting night, the ammo restrictions will cut down on spraying and make the event not only more safe, but more intense.

$20 a pop for the win Randel. Make sure you choose which night, because it's $20 per night.

Full seal goggles is a yes and helmet (highly recommended). Safety first.

if we want to bring our team, should we shoot for 5 or 6?
-6 for offense
-5 for defense

so in short bdu shirt=offense, black shirt=defense?what about the people that have black tac vests? Maybe im just thinking about this too much...

All black is fine. We're requiring a matching set of bdu's. As long as it matches you're good to go.

Assaulting force or defending force is up to you. If you want to keep with your friends make sure you don't have more than the limit.

Also, black tac vests shouldn't make a difference. It's the combination of a black top and acu, multicam, marpat, woodland, etc. It should be pretty easy to identify.
