PSC's Build/Skirm 4/20/08

Postby Ivan Daylovich™ » Sun Mar 16, 2008 5:49 pm

Due to the success of the last game we hosted, we will be improving the field on Sunday April 20th.
We will be parking at my house as before, but this time we will be riding up in a tractor trailer.
All are welcome, but if you wish to play after we build you must have a signed copy of this waiver.

Start Time: 10am, Sunday, April 20th.
Location: 2634 Lorence rd NE, Silverton, OR, 97381.
Entry fee: Nothing is required but donations would be greatly appreciated.
Pics of the field can be found here.

The games we will be playing afterward will be designed to test the fortifications, so mostly Attack and Defend.

As of now we will be just be filling sandbags I am working on getting permission to dig trenches, so if you have shovels bring them.

Age limit for this one will be low as long as you are willing to work you can play.
Teams will be divided by camo, but are going to be decided on the day of.
Guns: Follow the FPS limits and have box/drum/c mags only on SAWs.

Not really, make sure you have tough boots, they'll be VERY helpful, as some parts of the field will suck hiking boots right off your feet.

i agree with renegade,

the mud by the creek sucks you up. Lace up boots and leather gloves. There are a lot of blackberry bushes with thorns that will eat you alive...

Keep everything on you secured if not you will lose it.
You will be able to drop you gear off in the meadow while we are working. If you do make sure all of you small items (like sidearms) are inside of bags and the bags are closed.
Other than that and the previously mentioned boots just whatever you need to airsoft and build with.
We will have gallon jugs of water that we will drop off at each of the places where we're building.

Me and my four droogs might come. Me and three came last time, and we all had a good'n.

Don't know if you've considered it, but heavy cardboard and zip ties make for really durable and easily replaceable/ repairable terrain. They don't weather so hot if you leave them out in the rain, but my friends and I pack them flat in our trunks and pop them up when it's time to play someplace. Appliance boxes are the strongest.
