CQC Competition 3: Nov 19-20

Postby Seagreen » Sat Oct 22, 2005 4:31 pm

CQC 3:

Admins: Deacon, Dantes, Seagreen

Where: Private land located in Milwaukee/Gladstone. Directions to follow.
When: Nov. 19-20
Cost: $20 prepay, $30 at event. (PAYPAL payments@airsoftpacific.com)

Image

Age Requirements: 14+ this time. AP Waiver required for all participants ( http://www.airsoftpacific.com/APL_WAIVER.pdf ). Parent of Guardian signature required for players under 18. (special circumstances contact Seagreen or Dantes)
Team Requirements: 4-12 members.
FPS Limits Standard AP FPS limits. DM rifles outdoor only.

This is a non-profit game, just like all the CQC events in the past. We will use the player procedes to fund a raffle for all the players involved.

Scoring: In the past, the scoring methods have not been clearly defined. This time, each team will have a scoring sheet they can see at the end of their performance.

The scoring deductions:

Team Members Killed: -100pts
Fratracide: -350pts
Civilian Deaths: -250pts
Failure to complete Primary and Secondary objective. -200pts/-100pts
Breaking R.O.E. -100pts

Pre-Deployment Q&A for the teams:-25pts per missed verbal question.

In case of a tie: Every team upon deployment for plan execution will be timed. This time will be the tie breaker.

Those of you who have participated in the last CQC events understand the Q&A, now you will have clearly defined deductions to calculate your score.

As in the past, you will have a post scenerio brief. To let you see your score and you will know where you are at.

The Scenerio: YOU GET BRIEFED WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON THE SCENE.

For those of you who are interested in participating in this event, but do not have any experience with this type of gaming. We are planning a couple prep days so teams can get together with more experienced ones to work on their skills.

For those interested in acting in this event, please contact Deacon.
For those interested in filming this event, contact Dantes

Good luck, we will see you there.

List your team and its members if you plan on attending this event and which day (Saturday or Sunday) you would like to run on.

NOTICE: This event will be filmed. By participating you acknowledge you are being filmed and release any rights you may have concerning the use of any photos or video footage taken at the event to AP.com.

Max: Train for all of them. That way there are no suprises.

APST CQC Squad will be there (of course).

For those who do not already know this: The only people who know the scenarios or the layout are the Admins. Please don't assume that the APST CQC Squad will have some kind of advantage, we don't know what the mission will be or anything else until the briefing just like everyone else. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Nocte, please contact zerstoer, they are developing a team for this event.

Remember guys, this is about fun and a challenge. Whether you have participated in the past CQC events or not, with a little time together, all teams will be competitive.

looking for some 'mercs' to join my team for this event. if your going to be at the zombie game look to talk to me there. if not shoot me a PM
I only want players looking to have fun with this but will take it seriously too. and if your not a good sport on or off the playing field, don't bother.

Gentlemen, as far as actors go, we have many available roles, some of which will have a very low probability of being shot.

If you are interested in participating in this event as an actor, please contact me.

Thanks.

We won't need a 2 day commitment out of you, it's only 2 days because we expect we'll need 2 days to run all of the teams through the competition. For those travelling long distances, we'll be able to schedule you on the same day as the raffle so that you can participate in that as well.

Unless of course you're planning on bringing down your team as actors. Have you guys decided whether you'll be competing?
