Airsoft Pacific Presents:
Airsoft Action Hero Costume Contest
Airsoft Pacific is getting into the Halloween spirit by having a contest for the best Action Hero/Villain costume. Dress up as your favorite Action Movie Hero/Villain, video game character, animated character, TV series Hero/Villain or a notorious figure from history. The main requirement: You must incorporate an Airsoft gun into your costume.
Made possible by:
How to win:
1. Submit a photo of yourself in your Action Hero or Villain costume to our special contest gallery before the deadline, October 30, 2008. You must have an account on the website and be logged in to upload a photo. You must incorporate an Airsoft gun into your costume somehow.
2. The general public will rate all costumes on a scale of 1-10 starting October 31, 2008 and ending November 7, 2008 at midnight Pacific Time. Ratings before October 31, 2008 will be cleared and do not count. Only registered Airsoft Pacific users can rate photos, and they may only rate photos once.
3. A panel of AP judges will pick a first, second, and third prize from ONLY the Top 10 highest rated costumes and announce the winners on November 15, 2008.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: Classic Army M14 Scout from Airsoft Extreme
2nd Place: ACM M500 6mm Gas Airsoft Shotgun Black from AirSplat
3rd Place: KJW 1911 Metal CO2 GBB Pistol from AirSplat
Judging Criteria:
1. 40% Costume Quality. How much effort did you put into your costume?
2. 40% Authenticity. How close you look to the real thing.
3. 20% Creativity & Originality. How cool was your idea? Did everybody else have it?
Rules:
1. Any entrant 13 years or older with a valid Airsoft Pacific account may enter the contest.
2. Entrants may only submit 1 photo per costume, and may enter as many as 5 costumes in the contest. However, only 1 prize will be awarded per entrant.
3. Your photograph must be current from this year and it must be you in the photograph. If your costume makes the top 10, we will ask you for proof. To prove the authenticity of your photo, you will be required to submit an additional photo in the costume with a sign that reads, “I Love AP!” This can be hand-written on a piece of paper in your hand. This doesn’t have to be your contest photograph for public rating, but you should have it and be prepared to submit it. Take it while you’re taking your other photo, don’t forget! Entrants with no authentication photo will not be eligible for prizes.
4. Photographs must not contain any nudity, profanity or any content unsuitable for audiences as young as 13.
5. Airsoft Pacific staff, moderators, and writers are NOT eligible to win prizes but they may enter the contest. Their entrees will be excluded from final round judging.

Unless Childs and Hotglue combine their powers, we all have a chance of winning.

Does it have to be an action movie? _________________ "We have 4 boxes with which to defend liberty.

you can dress up like julia roberts from "pretty woman" if you like ( you still have the costume right?), you just have to be holding a airsoft weapon. _________________

Nope, like it says in the information... It can be from a video game, an animated series, TV... It should be a recognizable character with a gun. Guns are usually a regular occurrence in action movies. _________________
