BSP Challenge Player Handbook

BSP Waiver

Registration for the BSP CHALLENGE begins on November 20th 2008. First come, first serve.

WHAT IS THE BSP CHALLENGE?

The BSP Challenge is the culmination of our team based CQC missions with the addition of five more single and tandem operator competition events. At the BSP Challenge, just because you aren't competing in the team scenarios, doesn't mean you can't compete in the single or tandem events!

This means, that CQC is no longer a three hour show, but now a two day experience. Teams will participate in one full immersion scenario per day, fully scheduled, with a kit pre-brief so you can bring what you need for each mission.

After that, it is on to the single and tandem competitions where you pit your shooting skills against the man in the lane next to you in a ladder tournament, until only one remains.

SINGLE SHOOTER EVENTS

With the BSP CHALLENGE we will be presenting the introduction of events geared towards the single shooter. We will feature competitions in pistol, pistol & carbine, and carbine to give you the full shooting experience. Sign up for one or all three, just make sure you bring your "A" game or you will find yourself sitting in the stands with the rest of the crowd.

-Pistol
-Pistol/Carbine
-Precision Rifle

TANDEM SHOOTER EVENTS

In case single shooter events weren't enough, we will be offering a TANDEM SHOOTER EVENT for you and your partner. The categories will be the same, pistol, pistol & carbine, and carbine, but the courses will be designed to challenge your ability to work as a team.

-Tandem Pistol
-Tandem Pistol/Carbine

VENDORS & REFRESHMENTS

The BSP CHALLENGE will be the first time we've paired an event with a gunshow type atmosphere. Vendors will be on site to provide you with the latest and greatest in airsoft and tactical wares, as well as food, drink, and other various munchies to keep you fueled for the weekend.

Gun Show aka Swap Meet info has been posted here: http://www.airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic ... 500#357500

Gear Vendors: If you are interested in getting a table at the BSP CHALLENGE please contact us. Tables are free of charge, but you have to provide the table.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the BSP CHALLENGE begins on November 20th 2008.

We are only accepting 10 teams for the BSP CHALLENGE. This is a first come, first serve entry. Lock your spot in with at least 4 members prepayment by Jan 1st. This ensures people who want to go, can.

Single & Tandem Events: Each event will have 64 slots available. Feel free to sign up for as many as you like. Our schedule allows for you to compete in everything the BSP CHALLENGE has to offer.

Current Teams have have shown interest:

1. APST
2. RAC-5
3. PSC
4. DRAT
5. Terra First
6. Spokane Airsoft
7. WAR
8. ERA
9. Dune Corps
10. SOTA
11. Mithril
12. BattleSim
13. First Recon

These are the tenative teams that have already expressed interest. I will need reps from each team to confirm this on the 20th and begin submitting payments. Then, by Jan 1st. We'll need at least 4 of your stack to prepay to lock in your team's spot.

This means if you want to get into the event, you need at least 6 people, and 4 have to pay by Jan 1. First come first serve.

That's a month and half from now...and just over 2 months from game time.

Am I to belive that since you have your 10 teams, Mithril will not be able to run a stack for this event? Or that the only way in is to get 4 guys together to buy out a stack spot on the 30th?

It would be nice if you would have given preference to those who pre-paid last time for your CANCELED BSP challenge. We didn't respond as "going" to CQC7 because you specifically said that it wasn't the BSP challenge.

I'm not going to get all butt hurt here but it is kinda BS that you put up a post about one event and then changed to a different event. I personally don't care but I know several people in Battlesim were looking forward to going to this.

I guess I didn't convey what I meant properly.

I transferred the information from the other thread concerning who had spoken up who would like to be there.

This is a first come first serve program. If you guys want to lock a position in on the 20th, then by all means it is 100% yours. I'm already obligated to offer a spot to the teams that placed in CQC6. (which means APST, RAC-5, and Battlesim, if you so choose to go)

I want to be clear by saying that none of the other spots are 100% locked down without the prepayment of 4 players....just like the last BSP Challenge registration. We just are allowing the rest of the team to pay at the door if they so choose to. This means, you can lock in a spot on the 20th with a confirmed prepay of 4 people and lock your spot 100%, or you can drop down a couple people and by Jan 1. you have to prepay 4 people total. I hope that makes sense.

Sorry for the confusion. We want any team that wants to be there, to be able to go. This is a first come, first serve program.

Prepayments will go through S4 Tactical for this event. (NOT BSP's PAYPAL)

Also, we're officially looking for actors for this event.

ALSO:

We will be using vehicles in this event. And, I mean, seriously.

The day one scenario will require an early start time, 8am step-off due to the daylight contraints of winter.

Day One: Private Security Detail (Military Contractors)

We will use S4 as the step off point, but will move to a completely different location as the end point.

Advance team: 2-3 (Contractor look, no helmet) team members that will link up with sitting PSD(actors) TCP and make the drop.

PSD: (6 suggested, No helmet Contractor look) Will move in three vehicles (admin driven) to drop point. Suggested 8 team members in PSD.

Day Two: Undercover Sting

UC: 2 man (plain clothes)

ENTRY TEAM: 6 (suggested) (TAC GEAR)

I will provide more mission details in full OPORDs when teams have locked in their prepay slots.

Also to be clear BSP will continue to use theatrical blanks and similar items that exceed 85.1 db. Hearing protection is suggested for our events.

-Actors will be given specific guidelines to work in.

-Age requirement is dependant on the role we need fulfilled.

-Acting usually requires some form of costume. Easily put together in most any closet.
