To celebrate the birthday of founding SOTA member Chris (wzupthen), SOTA is holding a mini-OP on 15 August, 2009. This event will be milsim oriented, with strong objective-oriented play.

Cost: $10 per person, includes a hamburger/hotdog lunch and bottomless water and soda.

Location:ABT Field at 2011 NE 373rd ST, La Center, WA

Age Limit: 16+, all participants must have a waiver on file with ABT.*

Teams:

Pathfinder Security Consulting Forces

Maximum of 40 security personnel, Multicam or PMC loadout (solid colors only, no patterns)

M4 weapons platforms are preferred, but not required.

Ogoni People

Maximum of 54 persons, Woodland or Tiger Stripe (or traditional African garments, should you feel so inclined) only.

AK47 variants are preferred, but not required.

Star Deep Water Engineers

Maximum of six persons. Civilian attire or coveralls are preferred, orange construction vests will be given to all engineers.

This role only allows for pistols, no primary rifles, for defensive use only.

Gameplay:

All players are limited to a MAXIMUM of 1000 rounds on their person at any time. You may keep more ammo at your spawn points. You are free to distribute your ammo as you deem appropriate, but midcaps are preferred. This rule does not apply to people using legitimate support weapons (M249s, M60s, M240s, MG36, et cetera). Conversion weapons are allowed as support weapons so long as the conversion is at least 90% complete per the discretion of the admins. Box magazines are not allowed unless they are being used on one of the aforementioned support platforms.

A chronograph will be on site and all rifles will be chronoed before they are allowed into play. Strict adherence to AP outdoor limits will be followed, meaning a maximum of 400FPS for automatic or semi-automatic weapons, and 550FPS for bolt action platforms.

This will be a bio ammo only event!

BIO AMMO will be available at the field the day of the event, from AirsoftAmmoSupply.

Stage I Objectives:

The PSC forces must provide defensive protection to the engineers as they construct the new oil pipeline. There will be several hundred feet of pipeline that must be constructed and laid accordingly, along a pre-determined route. It is the goal of the Ogoni to disrupt construction and prevent the pipeline from being completed. The PSC is a defense force only, therefore, they cannot engage targets unless the Ogoni engage first. After the first hostile contact is initiated against the PSC, all Ogoni people are considered threats, and PSC forces are weapons free and clear to engage all targets.

Stage II and Stage III objectives are contingent upon the outcome of Stage I.

And, yes, there will be actual pipe.
