CQC4 Competition Signup : July 1-2

Postby Matt » Sun Mar 26, 2006 4:07 pm

Presented By: Seagreen, Dantes and Deacon

WHO: Airsoft Pacific and 9 Tactical Teams!
WHAT: CQC/CQB Tactical Competition, 4th Semi-Annual!
WHERE: Near Corvallis, OR
WHEN: July 1 and 2, 2006
WHY: Because CQC rocks!

ADMISSION FEE: $30 prepay or $40 at the door per person (Paypal payments@airsoftpacific.com)
AGE LIMITS: 18+ (Participants under 18 must have waiver signed by a parent)
TEAM REQUIREMENTS : Minimum 6. Maximum 12.
RULES AND INFO : All info is availalble in the Player Packet (PDF)

GENERAL INFO
CQC4 offers 3 different scenarios for a total of about 3 hours of live action, unlike last time which was a single scenario call-up. We'll run 3 teams simultaneously at different locations. One scenario will be local law enforcement (SWAT style), another federal law enforcement (ATF) and finally a MOUT style scenario. Be prepared for all three! You will have a short amount of time to switch weapons/gear before moving to your next scenario.

ABOUT DM
If your team plans to deploy a DM (Designated Marksmen), please tell the admins in advance. Please note that the DM or DM(s) count against your total stack number. A stack of 10 guys could have a 2 man DM team, or 11 could have 1 DM (for example).

THE PLAYFIELD
We're not going to tell you all EXACTLY where it is until right before the game, you'll just have to wait. The facility is a LARGE four story building, an old radar base near Corvallis OR.

They're release forms that have been used for larger games like Lion Claws, it's basically an agreement signed by your parents that says "Soandso" is your appointed guardian for the duration of the event. They have to be signed by both parties and notarized. (Notary service is available in places like Fedex/Kinkos and UPS Store). The form for this will be available soon.

Welcome to the next level of CQC gentlemen.

Scoring: We are retaining the same scoring guidelines as with CQC3

The scoring deductions:

Team Members Killed: -100pts
Fratracide: -350pts
Civilian Deaths: -250pts
Failure to complete Primary and Secondary objective. -200pts/-100pts
Breaking R.O.E. -100pts

Pre-Deployment Q&A for the teams:-25pts per missed verbal question.
(The same questions are asked of each team for each mission for any of you who may have any questions concerning that)

In case of a tie: Every team upon deployment for plan execution will be timed. This time will be the tie breaker.

Those of you who have participated in the last CQC events understand the Q&A.

As in the past, you will have a post scenerio brief. You will know your score walking away from each scenerio.

I may be able to play as an actor if you need one. And for the age limit, must the parent be playing?

It's cool to see that you guys got access to that place.

No, the parent does not have to be present, but you need to have a waiver of guardian liability signed and noterized.

Thanks. Sunday is now full. However, if we have teams travelling far distances who REALLY want Sunday, I can try to haggle with local teams to switch to Saturday.

It is starting to look like we may need to split our team in two, this is not confirmed yet, but please keep it in mind.
